From the creator of CopyRite XP comes the MyActiveDirectory. It's every Windows Server Admin's dream come true. Allow users to easily update their active directory account information through a Group Policy Object.

MyActive Directory is an easy to administer GUI that allows ordinary domain users to update their AD account information.

An example of when this would be useful is when a user gets a promotion and their title changes. They can easily make the change themselves rather than requiring help desk support.

There are two ways to use MyActiveDirectory.

Deploy through Active Directory GPO (Group Policy Object)

Add a User Logon Script and point it to the MyAD.exe file somewhere on the network (IE Netlogon Share).

Specify the Domain Admin account and password to modify AD in the "Script Parameters"

Assign the GPO to the user accounts OU.

Install on user PCs

Place the exe somewhere on your users PC and create a shortcut for them to run when they wish to make changes to their information
